We are a small family owned ranch that enjoys raising Longhorn cattle, fine Appaloosa, Paint, and Quarter horses. We take pride in what we
produce. We strive to produce level headed horses that are capable of doing versatile tasks, however like people some tasks are mastered
better than others.
All of our proceeds from the animals, tack items and other products go toward keeping everything running. We started CBK Ranch formally
back in 2002 when our 4 year old boy was killed in a tragic accident. He was no ordinary boy. He loved horses and John Wayne immensely!
His name "Colter" meant the herder and lover of horses.
CBK stands for Colter Braxton Kumpost. All of our horses and items made by us are branded with the CBK brand. The CBK brand is a
licensed brand in the state of Nebraska, and we are proud of that brand, because Mary Kumpost, Colter's mom; designed that brand and it
became the FIRST freeze only brand registered for horses.
In addition to all of this we are Grip Enterprises Inc. CBK Veterinary which was started in 2008 (formally Yankee Hill Veterinary which was
started in 1996. Glass Slipper Carriage Service, which was started in 2000. This is a horse drawn carriage service, bringing the
ambiance of the past into the present. Check out our products page under carriages for pictures.
In addition to all of this our company offers a variety of services and specialty items for sale.
Such as: Dog training (30 years of experience),Veterinary (30 years experience), Custom leather items and repairs, Health products for
you and your animal.
